Video Loom is an AI-assisted music video creation app. This Privacy Policy explains what information Video Loom collects, how it is used, how it is shared, and how users can access, export, or delete their data.

Information we collect
- Google sign-in data: if you choose "Continue with Google", Video Loom receives basic account information through Supabase Auth, such as your Google account email address, name, profile image if provided, and a stable authentication identifier.
- Account and profile data: account identifiers, authentication session data, collaborator display information, and support communications.
- User content: audio, lyrics, images, video, text, prompts, reference frames, comments, project metadata, timeline edits, and other content you upload or create.
- Generated content: images, videos, captions, transcripts, narratives, and other outputs generated for your projects.
- Usage and billing data: generation events, estimated costs, credit balances, plan status, Stripe customer identifiers, and subscription status. Video Loom does not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical and security data: IP address, device and browser information, request logs, diagnostics, error reports, and abuse-prevention signals.
How we use Google user data
Video Loom uses Google sign-in data only to authenticate you, create and maintain your account, protect your projects and media, identify collaborators you choose to work with, help you recover account access, prevent abuse, and provide support.
Video Loom does not use Google sign-in to read Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, YouTube, Google Photos, contacts, or other private Google product data. Video Loom does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train AI models.
Video Loom's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use other data
- To provide transcription, narrative planning, media generation, editing, assembly, storage, and export features.
- To save and reload your projects, media, comments, timeline state, and collaboration state.
- To meter usage, enforce plan limits, process payments, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To debug errors, monitor reliability, secure the service, and respond to support requests.
- To notify you about account, billing, policy, or service changes.
Video Loom does not sell personal data and does not use your uploaded content to train its own AI models.
Sharing and service providers
Video Loom shares data only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect users, or complete actions you request. Service providers may include:

When you run an AI generation, the prompt, uploaded file, reference image, audio, previous frame, or other content needed for that specific operation may be sent to the provider powering the model you selected or configured.
Cookies and local storage
Video Loom uses authentication sessions, security cookies, browser storage, and IndexedDB to keep you signed in, protect requests, cache media, preserve workflow state, and improve app reliability. Video Loom does not use third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data, projects, uploaded media, generated media, collaboration data, and usage records are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain security. Temporary processing files are deleted after processing when no longer needed.
Access, export, and deletion
- You can export project data from the app where export tools are available.
- You can delete projects and media from the app where deletion tools are available.
- You can request account and data deletion by emailing cras.brianvanthul@gmail.com.

After a verified deletion request, Video Loom deletes or de-identifies account data, projects, stored media, and related records unless retention is required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, billing, or fraud prevention.
Security
Video Loom uses safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, authentication, row-level ownership controls, signed media URLs, environment-isolated credentials, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
International processing
Video Loom and its service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where the providers operate.
Children
Video Loom is not intended for children under 18, and Video Loom does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
Video Loom may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or data practices. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email when appropriate.
